Joe + Brittney O'Connor
Joe and Brittney held their wedding ceremony and reception here this past weekend with their ceremony under the willow tree and their reception inside our barn. The weather was warm and sunny, making the willow tree a perfect shady ceremony spot.
They brought their own arbor for the ceremony site, which was a beautiful focal point, and they also brought other decorations such as signs, floral posts, and programs that doubled as fans, which worked perfectly for this warm summer wedding.
Joe and Brittney really like two things: wineries and wrestling, and they implemented both into the decor of their wedding reception! This handy groom made boxes out of wood as their centerpieces, which they filled with babies breath, gold wine bottles, and vases filled with corks and flowers. They also made table numbers out of corks by hot gluing them together. At each place setting, there was a placemat that had the menu printed directly onto it, which was a nice personal touch! Their tables were finished off with euculyptus garland, dotted with babies breath and votive candle holders. While they did have a traditional wedding cake, they also had a groom's cake, that was shaped like a wrestling ring, and was complete with a cake topper of the two of them on it.
